girlwithbeads aka Rebecca Alderman started out by making little bags & things from found objects, recycled materials, plastic bags, old clothes, etc. Right from the beginning recycling was a very important issue for gwb and she decided everything she produced would stick to a green ethos. This passion developed into a range of unique, handcrafted bags and accessories made from old clothes, including flat caps, suit jackets and ties.

 

All the products you see on this website are made from, as near to, 100% recycled materials as possible, and all packaging and stationary is eco-friendly too.
